Section Manager-Tire Durability and Wear Testing
Automotive Testing and Development Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates on behalf of
our customer. The work location is at a
6000 acre automotive test track and proving ground located approximately 75
miles west of San Antonio, Texas
Description-Basic Requirements
- Manage
the tire durability and wear department at the proving ground.
- Responsible
for tire test operations, budget preparation and execution, and personnel
management
- Responsible
for delivering on time, high
quality test results
- Develop
new and improved test methods; analyze variables and parameters in order
to improve test quality
- Recommend
and justify capital expenditures that will improve test quality and test
productivity
- Lead
and manage the technical staff
- Provide
technical support for product launches and marketing events
Other requirements
- Bachelor
of Science degree in Engineering (prefer Mechanical Engineering)
- Must
be fluent in English ( other languages such as Spanish, German a plus)
- IT
skills in Microsoft Office software
- Leadership
skills
- Occasional
travel
