Certification
/ Homologation
Automotive Testing &
Development Services (ATDS) can map the road
to an EPA Certificate of Conformity or a
CARB Executive Order for any regulated
application. From handheld power equipment
to Tier II and LEVII SULEV and PZEV
passenger cars, we have achieved
certification of new motor vehicles in over
100 projects for both very small volume
manufacturers as well as some of the worlds'
largest. The complexity of the certification
process continues to increase with the
ongoing adoption of new regulations and
tighter standards by the EPA and California
Air Resources Board, and we stay on top of
it in real time.
ATDS is uniquely positioned to not
only guide our clients through this
regulatory labyrinth, but to actually
conduct the needed emissions and durability
tests ourselves using our own equipment in
house. This means a faster path to
certification at a dramatically reduced
cost. With durability testing locations
throughout the nation and the latest in Emissions Testing
capabilities, we keep the
focus on low cost, timely certification and
start of production.
ATDS
offices are located in close proximity to
the both the US EPA in Ann Arbor, Michigan
as well as the California Air Resources
Board in El Monte, California making us the
ideal base of operations for your
certification project. ATDS staff has
long-standing working relationships with
both EPA and CARB certification staff and
can interact on behalf of our customers or
provide guidance as needed.
ATDS can assist in any phase of the
certification process or provide a complete
turnkey certification program. Our
